Art Classes

Art Classes provide a unique experience tailored towards the individual’s needs and operate just like a school.

Structured classes are held in an outdoor environment in a relaxed atmosphere where tea or coffee is provided amongst and catered for students. Students choose their own medium and bring their own supplies. Pencil, charcoal, acrylics, oils or gouache.

This gives the student an opportunity to view what other students in the class are working on and how they overcome the challenging aspects of their own artworks. Some projects may take weeks to work on whilst others only a lesson, again this depends up to you and what you are comfortable with.

Relaxing, stress-free and comical is the best way to describe the groups.

Having students from a wide variety of backgrounds such as Primary, High School and University, professional people, students with disabilities and older age students with their carer’s creates an interesting group of people with many life experiences. We create bonds and lifetime relationships.

Assisting students with their portfolios, aspects of degree requirements, teaching homeschooled children art theory and the practical side of art is all part of the interesting combination of the needs of the students.

Classes operate on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.30 to 11.00am and 4.00 to 5.00pm.

Children and adult classes have a program each week, with techniques to help the individual progress at their own pace.

The school operates just like a school term and usually consists of about 10 weeks per term. It’s inexpensive and supplies can be purchased by the individual or put together as a kit by myself for an additional cost. Students pick their own medium and the class is structured around the individual making it a unique experience. The relaxed environment offers a stress-free atmosphere.

PLEASE NOTE: We accept PayPal payments. Let me know if you would like to opt for this payment option when booking in for your class or workshop.

Workshops

Workshops operate on request and serve a different purpose.

For example, you may want to try something new with a group of people you are comfortable with or it can provide those who are unable to travel for health reasons an outlet in their own surroundings.

Schools, nursing homes and community groups all have different needs and lessons are structured based on the information provided by the organizer. This may vary depending on the size of the group, age and level of experience.

Curiosity, creativity and experimenting with different mediums creates a relaxed atmosphere – art therapy.

Groups use the same medium and instruction on the subject matter is demonstrated in a step by step process.

Costs are low, supplies and equipment are usually supplied by the organizer or supplies can be purchased with an additional cost to the fee.
